What started out as a partnership of choosing some items every month and sharing them with all of you, has now turned into a love for their relaxed style and the women they represent.

J. Jill’s goal is to celebrate ALL women by helping them look and feel their best. Their new May collection is stunning and are exactly the type of laid back style I love to embrace come spring and summer. The minute I saw this White Sands Embroidered Poncho, I knew it was something I wanted in my wardrobe.
Part of their May collection includes their exclusive Compassion Fund Tote. 100% of proceeds are being donated directly to community-based organizations that support women in need. I’ll be sharing an outfit next week featuring the tote, but until then, here’s a photo of it from the J. Jill website.
There are a couple of ways you can help with this initiative: 1) you can purchase the toteknowing that 100% of the proceeds will help women in need and 2) you can share how you connect with your loved ones and community by using the hashtag #JJILLCOMPASSION on your social media channels. For every photo tagged, J.Jillwill donate $1 to help homeless and disadvantaged women regain their self-sufficiency via the J.Jill Compassion Fund, up to $350,000.
One way I connect every day with my family is during our nightly meal; where we eat, talk, laugh and catch up with each other. We have somehow managed to escape the evening grind of transporting kids to sporting practices, games and all of those other evening activities that can take up so much time and energy. They’re good, don’t get me wrong, but I am extremely thankful right now for our slow paced, easy lifestyle we’ve achieved with two teenagers and a tween.
When our kids were younger it was soccer games, gymnastic practices and those never ending parent meetings that ate up so many of our nights. I’m grateful and try to be very present in our current season of life, which is very laid back right now.
I also wanted to share with you a new shoe company I am pretty obsessed with right now. I’m talking about Secret Celebrity, whose shoes are available to purchase through Amazon and Camtrade.com. They were recently introduced to me and I chose two pairs that caught my eye. I’m wearing their Cookie Crumbles sandal in gold and have pretty much been wearing them non-stop! Even my 18 year old daughter has borrowed them a couple of times. (I think she has plans to steal them from me when she heads to college in a few months.)
From the design and the way they hug my foot, to the cork wedge and white bottoms, this has become a go-to shoe for me this spring. They’re unique and look good with everything, which is a huge plus.
